We made Spectro different
Spectro had a lot of things going in its favor. The company had a strong brand essence – through their no-excuse service, superior equipment and an ability to get anything printed at a top-notch level. However, none of this brand spirit was coming across in their marketing.Denver-based advertising agency, LeeReedy, was invited to position the brand – creating a personality that would further endear existing customers and magnetize new ones to the company.
Hit people where they’re least expecting it
What seemed like a simple recommendation from us to improve Spectro’s marketing ROI, turned out to be one of the most valuable things they ever did to grab attention. Among all the marketing pieces we affected, one in particular surprised everyone with its success – repainting the trucks.No big deal, right? Well, while other printers were covering their trucks with logo, phone number and website address, we treated Spectro’s fleet like traveling billboards – complete with headlines and a traffic-stopping, bright yellow color. The trucks drove around town all day making deliveries anyway. Now, they were free mobile marketing for Spectro.

Spectro got phone calls from the trucks – tons of them. Weekly, often daily, people were calling or walking into their plant saying, “Those trucks are great.
